Your account
Delete your account
You can delete your Zuri Society account yourself, from the app or the portal, or by emailing us. You do not need the app installed to do it. This page explains the three ways, what happens when you ask, and what is deleted.
1. How to ask
01In the app: open your profile, then Settings → Delete account, and confirm.
02In the portal: sign in at members.zurisociety.com, open Edit Profile, and choose Delete My Account. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm.
03By email: write to [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm by reply and start the same process. Requests from another address are checked with you first, so no one can delete your account for you.
2. What happens straight away
- Your account closes at once: other members no longer see your profile, your posts or your conversations, and you can no longer sign in.
- Any Zuri Signal subscription is cancelled immediately. Nothing further is charged.
- A 30-day grace period starts.
3. The 30-day grace period
For 30 days your account is hidden but not yet deleted, so you can change your mind. To restore it, email [email protected] from your account address within those 30 days. After 30 days the deletion runs automatically and cannot be undone.
4. What is deleted
After the 30 days, we permanently delete:
- your profile, including your name, photo, bio and links
- your Board posts, After Hours and Inner Circle posts, and the photos on them
- your messages, on both sides of every conversation
- files you added to the Vault or a deal room
- your RSVPs, bookmarks, highlights, concierge requests and Ask Zuri history
- your push notification tokens and your login
- your original membership application
5. What is kept, and why
